ALL NEW STYLING - SAME GREAT PERFORMANCE AND HANDLING

The VIPER was designed from the ground up exclusively for the 2012 & newer Honda Goldwing 1800. It captures Honda's new styling changes and incorporates a perfect match of the LED trike tail lights to the Goldwing tour box lights accented with a trunk door spoiler light as a standard feature. The trunk door has been made wider for easier access and opens to the one of the largest trunk storage areas in the industry 8 cubic feet.

At its core, a fully independent suspension system based on light weight cast aluminum smoothes the roughest road, while providing responsive handling to the driver. A gas charged coil-over shock and chromoly anti-roll bar work together to control body lean and keep the trike flat through the most demanding curves. Our proprietary brake calipers and fully integrated linked braking system delivers unmatched braking power and control. Add the 6 degree Power Trak to create supreme steering feel and control.

Suspension

Hands down, the most innovative suspension engineering design on the market! Based on Indy car technology, the Viper features a vertically stabilized opposing rocker mono shock independent suspension, plus:

Purpose designed QA1 shock for the Opposing Rocker arm system
QA1-300 lb. linear wound racing spring designed to accommodate a loaded weight of up to 650lbs.

inclusive of accessories, luggage, and passengers. (Lighter spring weights available)
O.E.M. electro hydraulic preload adjuster is retained for preload adjustment by the rider to compensate for varying loads

Drivetrain

A custom cast & machined aluminium differential houses our purpose built proprietary ring and pinion. Our driveshaft was designed by our engineers and is machined from solid pre-hardened 4340 alloy steel. It is then nitrided for wear prevention and a final Electroless nickel plating is applied for superior corrosion resistance.

Disc Brake System

Truly masterful engineering went into the design of California Sidecar Trike's disc brake system and the result is truly confidence-inspiring braking performance. The brakes are completely integrated with the O.E.M Linked Braking System and we are the only trike manufacturer to offer full ABS integration.

Wheels and Tires

The Viper comes standard with 5-spoke Vision wheels with a sharp silver powder coat finish. Optional Chrome Wheel Upgrade available. The 205/60R15 All Season radial tires provide the highest level of performance and control in all riding conditions.

In typical California Sidecar Trike fashion, we've crafted a body with an aggressive, sleek style that perfectly complements the GL1800 Goldwing. The body is equipped with Honda taillights, halogen reverse lights, and rear chrome trim accent strip. Each painted body comes with the finest finish in the business. Our in-house fiberglass and paint departments insure the highest degree of quality control and the color match capability is unsurpassed. At California Sidecar we use the same paints and clears supplied to Honda. Bodies are wet sanded and then polished in a two-step process to achieve an amazing paint finish.

CSC GL1800 Cobra XL

We took the opportunity to re-design our Cobra kit to offer a choice of an enlarged trunk capacity for the existing 2001 to 2010 GL1800's without sacrificing styling or performance. We believe you will find the COBRA XL at first glance hard to distinguish from our current kit, thus maintaining the same elegant soft lines that have made our Cobra kit so popular. What you will discover is a trunk space that is now almost double in size at 8 cu. ft. This larger capacity trunk makes our COBRA XL model one of the largest trunk spaces for any Honda GL1800 trike kit on the market.

We took the opportunity to re-design our Sport kit and now introduce it as our Sport with independent suspension. Re-engineering the suspension from a straight axle to a race-honed, fully independent suspension system delivers a trike kit with absolute performance, style and comfort.
Our trademark elegant body design beautifully complements the curves of the bike, worthy of the GL1500 Goldwing's legendary performance. Add our Power Trak front end to give the smoothest and most responsive steering in the industry. The Sport trike comes with all the features that make CSC Trike the leader in trike conversions.

Bodies are wet sanded and then polished in a two-step process to achieve an exquisite paint finish.
